On Saturday February 6th I got the call that Kelley's water broke so they were at the hospital. This was 2 weeks before her due date so it was a bit of a surprise. Baby girl wanted to come meet everyone sooner rather than later. I caught a flight the next day to Raleigh and got there just after the birth. Katelyn had caught an earlier flight so she got to see Kel before she actually started pushing. Paige Caroline Cummins was born on February 7th, 2016 at 5:46pm. She weighed 7 lbs. 12 oz. and she was perfect. The labor and delivery went as scheduled and after Kel, Brian and Paige were settled in they told us to come up to visit. Paige was so little, but precious! I fell in love immediately. She was super sleepy, but her eyes opened a couple of times and you could tell she was taking everything in. I usually see babies and think, "Eh, they look kind of weird and alien like", but Paige was just gorgeous! We all got to hold her and hang out with Kelley and Brain. I'm so glad I got to be there when she was born. We spent the next couple of days in Raleigh and when I headed out I had already made a plan to come back. :)
